General information
The independent rear suspension provides a reduction in unsprung weight compared to the solid axle found on previous Land Rover models. The rear suspension includes an upper control arm, a lower control arm, a wheel knuckle and a wheel hub, two spring damper modules, and a strut stabilizer assembly. The shock absorber modules are of a similar design and may contain a spring or pneumatic elastic element.
The rear suspension control arms provide maximum ground clearance and allow camber adjustment with an eccentric bolt, and toe and bump steer with an adjustment tie rod.
