Removing

1.

WARNING: It is forbidden to carry out work on a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always place secure supports under the vehicle.

Raise and support the vehicle.

2. Remove the wheel.

3. Remove and discard the axle shaft seal. For more information refer to Rear Axle (47.11.01)

4. Using the special tool, remove and discard the axle bearing.

Installation

1. Using the special tools, install a new axle shaft bearing.



2. Install a new axle shaft seal. For more information refer to Rear Axle (47.11.01)

3. Install the wheel and tire. Tighten the wheel nuts with a tightening torque of 140 Nm.
