General information
The parking brake is an electrically operated drum brake system integrated into the rear brake discs. The parking brake system includes:
- Parking brake switch.
- Left and right drum brakes.
- Cables of the left and right drum brake mechanisms.
- Parking brake emergency release cable.
- Clutch position sensor (only for models with manual transmission).
- Two parking brake indicators.
- Parking brake control unit.
The parking brake control unit regulates the tension of the brake cables, thus turning on and off the drum brakes. The parking brake control unit receives commands from the parking brake switch.
