The clutch pedal position sensor transmits the clutch pedal position signal to the parking brake control unit.
The Hall sensor is used as the clutch pedal position sensor, mounted on the side of the clutch master cylinder. The position of the piston in the clutch master cylinder affects the magnetic field in the sensor and is converted by the sensor into an analog signal voltage supplied to the parking brake control unit. The parking brake control unit determines the position of the clutch pedal from this signal.
