The wheel hub and bearing assembly includes a wheel hub housing, a wheel hub, and a tapered roller bearing. The wheel hub and bearing assembly is maintenance free. Five M14 studs are pressed into the wheel hub to secure the wheel with wheel nuts.
The wheel hub housing is forged and machined and contains a tapered roller bearing. The housing has four threaded holes for fastening the wheel knuckle with four bolts.
The wheel hub has a central hole with splines that match the splines on the axle shaft. The rotation of the axle shaft is transmitted through splines to the wheel hub, which rotates on a tapered roller bearing.
