CAUTION: Check the tie rod ends, suspension pivots, hub bearings, wheel rims and tires for damage, wear and play.
WARNING: Make sure there are no heavy objects in the vehicle.
ATTENTION: Body height measurement must be carried out when the mass of the vehicle is fully transferred to the suspension.
WARNING: With the engine running and doors closed, make sure the air suspension is working and that the air suspension switch allows you to raise and lower the ride height.
WARNING: Drive the vehicle on a level, flat surface.
CAUTION: Make sure the steering is in the straight ahead position.
NOTE: This procedure must be performed after replacing the air suspension ECM or body height sensor connector, or if the front or rear height sensor arms have been removed or replaced. Body height adjustment is not required if the front or rear air springs or shock absorbers are removed or replaced.
1. Using the Land Rover Approved Diagnostic System, perform body height adjustments.

WARNING: Make sure that the vehicle set for the measurement remains stationary.
Place the vehicle on a flat, level surface.
3. Connect the IDS to the data link connector.
- Connect the vehicle data link cable to the vehicle communication module.
- Connect the IDS USB cable to the vehicle communication module.
- Connect the data link cable to the data link connector.
- Connect the IDS USB cable to the IDS USB port.

WARNING: Switch off the ignition, apply the parking brake and move the selector lever to the park position.
NOTE: IDS is already loaded with the latest software version.
Turn on IDS and go to the vehicle identification number input screen (VIN).
5. Enter the VIN and go to the vehicle configuration menu.
- Select 'Installation' options (Setup) and 'Configuration settings' (Configuration).
- Select the option 'Air suspension height calibration' (Air suspension height calibration) and read all warnings and cautions.

NOTE: Do not install a special tool on the wheel lock nut.
NOTE: Make sure the special tool is set at right angles to the outer surface of the wheel rim and the dipstick is vertical.
NOTE: Measure from the top edge of the slider on the special tool.
After the suspension height measurement screen appears, use the special tool to measure and record the height setting value from the center of each wheel to the wheel arch.
7.
WARNING: The IDS will then cause the vehicle height to change.
Enter in the IDS a set of height values from vehicle measurements.
8. Using the special tool, repeat the vehicle height measurements.
9. After successfully completing the air suspension calibration, turn off the IDS and return to the original position.
