Removing
All cars
1. Remove the cover.
2. Lay down an absorbent cloth to soak up spilled liquid.
3. Disconnect the low brake fluid indicator switch electrical connector.
Vehicles with manual transmission

WARNING: Plug all open connections to avoid contamination of the system.
Disconnect the clutch master cylinder supply line.
All cars
5.
WARNING: Plug all open connections to avoid contamination of the system.
Remove the brake fluid reservoir.
- Release 2 clamps.
- Remove and discard the 2 brake fluid reservoir seals.
Installation
All cars
1. Clear the details.
2. Install the brake reservoir. Install new brake reservoir seals.
Vehicles with manual transmission
3. Connect the supply line to the clutch master cylinder.
All cars
4. Connect the low brake fluid warning light switch electrical connector.
5. Use T4 to bleed air from the brake system. For more information, refer to Bleeding the Brake System (70.25.02)
Vehicles with manual transmission
6. Bleed the air from the hydraulic clutch. For more information, refer to Bleeding the Clutch System
