Front bumper cover (Discovery 3)

Removing

1.

WARNING: It is forbidden to carry out work on a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always place secure supports under the vehicle.

Raise the car and place it on stands.

2. Remove the wing moldings. For more information refer to Front Fender Trim (76.43.54)

3. Turn out 14 screws of an overlay of a forward bumper.

NOTE: Some fluid will inevitably spill during this operation.

Remove the front bumper cover.

• Disconnect 2 electrical connectors.
• Disconnect the headlight washer hose from the washer pump.
• Let the liquid drain into a container.

5.

NOTE: Do not proceed with further disassembly if the part is being removed only for access.

Remove the headlight washer nozzles. For more information, refer to Headlight Washer Nozzle (84.20.08)

6. Remove sensors of system of the help at a parking.

• Disconnect the electrical connector.
• Release 2 clips.
• Repeat the above procedure for the remaining three sensors.

7. Remove the parking aid sensor harness. Remove 9 mounting tapes.




8. Remove the headlight washer nozzle hose. Release 5 clips.

Installation

1. Install the headlight washer nozzle hose. Engage 5 clips.

2. Install the parking aid sensor harness. Install mounting tapes.

3. Install the parking aid sensors. Connect the electrical connectors of the parking aid sensors.

4. Install the headlight washer nozzles. For more information, refer to Headlight Washer Nozzle (84.20.08)

5. Establish an overlay of a forward bumper.

• Connect the park assist sensor harness electrical connectors.
• Connect the headlight washer hose to the washer pump.
• Screw in the screws.

6. Install fender moldings. For more information refer to Front Fender Trim (76.43.54)
