Rear seat upholstery with 40/20/40 split (Discovery 3)

Removing

1. Remove the seatback hinge inner cover.

Release the side clip of the backrest upholstery.
Remove the screw.
Release 2 clips.

2. Remove the seatback hinge outer cover. Remove the screw.

3. Remove lateral facing of a pillow of a back seat. Remove 2 screws.

4. Remove the luggage compartment fastening tape. Remove the hex bolt.

5. Remove the rear seat head restraint. Click on the 2 mounting clips.

6. Remove the rear seat headrest mounting clips.

7. Remove the rear seat release handle.

8. Remove the rear seat release handle pad. Remove the screw.

9. Disconnect the backrest heating mat electrical connector. Install the rear seat cushion side clip.

10. Remove a back of a back seat in gathering. Remove 3 Torx head screws.

11. Establish an upholstery of a back of a back seat. Loosen 5 clamps.

12. Remove an upholstery of a back of a back seat. Remove 16 bent rings.

Installation

1. Establish an upholstery of a back of a back seat.

Install 16 bent rings.
Install 4 clips.

2. Install the rear seat back assembly. Tighten Torx Head Bolts (tightening torque 45 Nm).

3. Connect the backrest heating mat electrical connector. Install the rear seat cushion side clip.

4. Establish an overlay of the handle of release of a back seat. Tighten the screw.

5. Install the rear seat release handle.

6. Establish fastening clips of a head restraint of a back seat.

7. Install the rear seat head restraint.

8. Establish a tape of fastening of a luggage space.

9. Establish a lateral overlay of a pillow of a back seat. Tighten the screws.

10. Establish an external cover of the hinge of a back of a forward seat.
