Rear seat with 60/40 split (Discovery 3)

Removing

NOTE: This procedure describes the removal and installation of the left and right seats.

1.

NOTE: Torx head bolts are reusable.

Unfasten the right rear seat.

• Fold the left seat cushion forward.
• Remove 4 Torx head screws.
• Fold back a back of a back seat.

2. Remove the right back seat.

3.

NOTE: Torx head bolts are reusable.

Loosen the left rear seat bracket.

• Fold the left seat cushion forward.
• Remove 6 Torx head screws.
• Fold down the rear seat back.

4. With assistance, remove the left rear seat assembly.

Installation

1. With assistance, install the left rear seat assembly. Install the seat on the pins.

2. Secure the left rear seat.

• Return the seat back to the upright position.
• Tighten Torx Head Bolts (tightening torque 40 Nm).
• Fold the seat cushion forward.

3. Install the right rear seat. Install the seat on the pins.

4. Secure the right rear seat.

• Return the seat back to the upright position.
• Tighten Torx Head Bolts (tightening torque 40 Nm).
• Fold the seat cushion forward.
