Seat configuration

The Discovery 3 model can be fitted with 5 or 7 seats. The driver's seat is adjustable either electrically by 8 parameters with or without the possibility of memorizing the settings, or manually by 6 parameters. The front passenger seat is either electrically adjustable in 6 ways or manually in 4 ways without height adjustment. On vehicles from model year 2008, the front passenger seat can be equipped with a power 8-way adjustment system.

The type of second row seats used depends on whether 5 or 7 seats are installed. If the car has 5 seats, the second row includes 60/40 split reclining seats, while vehicles equipped with 7 seats use 35/30/35 split seats with 2 reclining seats through which access to the third row seats.

Depending on the equipment level, the seats can be upholstered in fabric, Duragrain or leather.
