Removing
NOTE: This procedure involves removing the left and right front door outside handle.
NOTE: If removing the outside handle involves removing other interior door components, it is recommended that you release the outside door handle and screw cover from inside the door after removing the door trim panel, regulator, and motor.
1. Left side: remove the secret lock. For more information refer to Door Lock Cylinder (76.37.39)

NOTE: Removing the screw cover may damage the clips holding it.
NOTE: If removing the screw cover involves dismantling other interior parts of the door, it is recommended to release the screw cover from inside the door after removing the door trim panel, regulator, and motor.
Right side: Remove the screw cover. Release 2 clips.
3. For removing the front door outside handle without removing the door trim panel.
- Push the handle firmly back, then rotate it away from the door and remove.
- Remove 2 gaskets.
4. To remove the front door outside handle after removing the door trim panel and regulator.
- Use a nylon-faced mallet to gently release the clip.
- Remove 2 gaskets.
Installation

NOTE: Use the appropriate length of wire to secure the lock lever spring while pressing the outside handle.
When installing, follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
