Rear luggage compartment door trim panel (Discovery 3)

Removing

1. Remove the top panel of furnish of a back door.

• Remove the 4 screw covers.
• Remove 4 screws.
• Release 2 clips.

CAUTION: To avoid damaging the paintwork, support the tailgate at all times.

Disconnect the 2 carrier cables from the tailgate. Release 2 clips.



3. Remove the 2 carrier cable bushings from the tailgate.

4. Raise the rear door hinge cover to allow access.

5. Remove the rear door trim panel. Release 12 clips.

NOTE: Do not proceed with further disassembly if the part is being removed only for access.

Remove 12 clips from rear door trim panel.

Installation

1. Install the tailgate trim panel. Install clamps.

2. Lower the tailgate hinge cover.

3. Tighten the spigot y1 (tightening torque 25 Nm).

4. Pull out the carrying cables to the rear door and secure them with clips.

5. Establish the top panel of furnish of a back door.

• Engage clamps.
• Screw in the screws.
• Install the screw covers.
