Front door trim panel (Discovery 3)

Removing

1.

ATTENTION: First release the 2 lower clamps using the access holes.

Install the handrail cover. Release 4 clips.



2. Release the front door trim panel.

• Remove 2 screw covers.
• Remove 8 screws.
• Release 12 clips.

3. Disconnect a cable of system of remote opening of the lock of a door.



4. Remove the front door trim panel. Disconnect 7 electrical connectors.

NOTE: Do not proceed with further disassembly if the part is being removed only for access.

Remove the handle of the remote door lock opening system. Starting from the bottom edge, carefully release the handle of the remote opening system.



6. Remove a lamp of illumination of a threshold. Carefully remove the lamp.



7. Remove the tweeter. Release 3 clips.


8. Remove the mirror control switch. Release 2 clips.



9. Remove the speaker. Remove 3 Torx head screws.



10. Remove the power window control switch. Carefully release the 4 clips.



11. Remove 12 clips.

Installation

1. Install the power window control switch. Engage clamps.


2. Install the speaker. Tighten the Torx screws.

3. Install the mirror control switch. Engage clamps.

4. Install the tweeter. Engage clamps.

5. Establish a lantern of illumination of a threshold.

6. Install the front door remote release handle.

7. Install clips.

8. Install the front door trim panel.

• Connect electrical connectors.
• Attach the door lock control cable.
• Engage clamps.
• Tighten the screws.
• Install the screw cover.

9. Install the handle cover.
