B-pillar upper trim panel (Discovery 3)

Removing

1. Place the SRS system in safe mode. For more information, refer to Standard Techniques Used in a Service Station.

2. Remove the lower pillar trim panel "IN". For more information, refer to Lower Pillar Trim Panel (76.13.29)

3. Detach the lower seat belt anchor from the seat.

• Remove the bolt cover.
• Disconnect the electrical connector on the passenger side.
• Remove the Torx bolt.

NOTE: Before removing the top rack trim panel "IN" make sure. that the seat belt upper anchor height adjuster is in its lowest position.

Remove the top trim panel "IN".

• Remove the front and rear door seals for ease of access.
• Release the 2 bottom clips. then the remaining upper clip.
• Release the seat belt.

Installation

1. Install the top trim panel "IN".

• Fasten with clips.
• Attach the seat belt.
• Install door seals.

2. Attach the lower seat belt anchor to the seat.

• Tighten Torx Head Bolt (tightening torque 40 Nm).
• Connect the electrical connector on the passenger side.
• Install the bolt cover.

3. Install the lower rack trim panel "IN". For more information, refer to Lower Pillar Trim Panel (76.13.29)
