A-pillar trim panel (Discovery 3)

Removing

1. Release the door seal to gain access to the top trim panel of the pillar "A" and control panel end panel.



2. Remove the control panel end panel. Release the clamp.



3. Remove the top trim panel "A".

• Loosen the screw cover.
• Loosen and discard the Torx head screw.
• Release the clamp.

NOTE: Do not proceed with further disassembly if the part is being removed only for access.

Remove the screw holder and clip from the top trim panel of the rack "A".

Installation

1. Install the screw holder and clip onto the top trim panel of the rack "A".

2. Install the top trim panel "A".

• Fasten with a clip.
• Insert and tighten new Torx screw (tightening torque 3 Nm).
• Install the screw cover.

3. Install the control panel termination board. Fasten with a clip.

4. Install the door seal.
