Reconciliation of the counterpart of the rear tailgate lock (Discovery 3)

1. Make sure that adjacent panels are aligned and with the same gap. If this condition is not met, follow the adjustment procedure described below.



2. Remove the tailgate latch trim panel.

3. Loosen the 2 tailgate lock bolts.



4. Close the tailgate and make sure that adjacent panels are aligned and with the same gap.

5. Open the tailgate and tighten the tailgate lock bolts (tightening torque 25 Nm).

6. Install tailgate retainer trim panel.
