Removing
NOTE: When replacing the rear panel, the rear light mounting panel assembly must be removed.
1. Disconnect both wires from the battery. For more information refer to Specification.
2. Remove the rear bumper trim. For more information refer to Rear Bumper Cover (76.22.74)
3. Remove panels of finishing of a rack of a back door. For more information refer to 'D' Pillar Trim Panel (76.13.30)
4. Remove a decorative cover of a hinge of a back door.
5. Remove the rear door seal.
6. Remove the lining of the luggage compartment.
7. Remove the carpet from the luggage compartment.
8. With assistance, remove the rear door.
9. Remove the left exhaust pipe heat shield.
10. Remove the right exhaust pipe heat shield.
11. Remove the spare wheel.
12. Release the rear panel wiring harness.

Installation
1. Install in the reverse order to dismantling.
