Valve lever — removal and installation (Defender 2007+)

Removing

1. Disconnect the wire "masses" from the battery.

2. Remove the cylinder head cover.

3. Remove the rocker arm support. Remove 10 bolts.

NOTE: One rocker shown, others are similar.

Remove the rocker.

Installation

1.

NOTE: Clean the contact surfaces of the parts.

Install the rocker.

NOTE: Clean the contact surfaces of the parts.

Install the rocker arm support.

• Stage 1: Tighten to 10 Nm.
• Stage 2: Tighten another 30 degrees.

3. Install the cylinder head cover.

4. Connect the wire "masses" to the battery.
