Manifold absolute pressure and temperature (MAPT) sensor (Defender 2007+)

Removing

1. Disconnect the plug connector of the absolute pressure and temperature sensor in the intake manifold (MAPT).

CAUTION: Plug all openings. Use new caps.

Remove the MART sensor.

• Turn out a bolt.
• Remove the O-ring and send it for recycling.

Installation

1.

NOTE: Remove and discard plugs.

NOTE: Install the o-ring.

Reinstall the elements in reverse order. Tighten (tightening torque 3 Nm).
