Removing

Warnings:
- Relieve pressure in the cooling system by slowly releasing the expansion tank cap a quarter of a turn. Cover the expansion tank cap with a thick cloth to prevent scalding. Failure to follow this instruction may result in injury.
- Do not remove the coolant expansion tank cap when the system is hot, as steam or coolant escaping from the cap may cause serious injury such as scalding.
CAUTION: Coolant can damage paintwork. If coolant is spilled, remove it immediately and flush the area with water.
Relieve pressure in the cooling system.
2. Disconnect the coolant hose.
- To minimize coolant loss, pinch the hoses.
- Install a container to catch spilled liquid.
- Release the clamp.
3. Disconnect a hose for removal of air from a radiator. Release the clamp.
4. Remove a broad tank. Turn out a bolt.
Installation
1. Install the expansion tank. tighten bolt (tightening torque 10 Nm).
2. Attach a hose for removal of air from a radiator. Lock the clamp.
3. Connect the coolant hose.
- Lock the clamp.
- Remove the clamps from the hoses.
4. Check the coolant level, top up if necessary. Remove container.
