Cooling Fan Shroud (Defender 2007+)

Removing

1. Disconnect the wire "masses" from the battery.

For more information, see the chapter: Disconnecting and connecting the battery (414-01 Battery, Battery Mount and Wires, General Procedures).

2. Drain the liquid from the cooling system.

3. Remove the cooling fan.

CAUTION: Plug all openings. Use new caps.

Disconnect the cooling fan shroud.

• 1. Disconnect the expansion tank hose.
• 2. Release a hose of a broad tank from a casing of the fan of cooling.
• 3. Remove the 2 screws to detach the cooling fan shroud.

CAUTION: Plug all openings. Use new caps.

Disconnect the upper radiator hose.



6. Disconnect the thermostat from a casing of the fan of system of cooling.


7. Remove the cooling fan shroud.

Installation

1. Replace the elements in reverse order.

2. Connect the wire "masses" to the battery.
