Clutch slave cylinder — removal and installation (Defender 2007+)

Removing

1.

WARNING: It is forbidden to carry out work on a vehicle standing on only one jack. Always support the vehicle with jack stands.

Raise the car and place stands under it.

2. Disconnect the wire "masses" from the battery.

3. Remove a transmission in the block with the leading bridge.

4. Disconnect the fluid line.

• Place an absorbent cloth to collect spilled liquid.
• Remove clamp.

5. Remove the clutch slave cylinder. Turn out 3 bolts.

Installation

1. Install the clutch slave cylinder. Tighten the bolts (tightening torque 10 Nm).

2. Connect the fluid line. Reinstall the clamp.

3. Install the gearbox in the block with the drive axle.

4. Connect the wire "masses" to the battery.
