General procedures
WARNING: Brake fluid contains polyglycol ethers and polyglycol. Avoid contact of liquid with eyes. Wash your hands thoroughly after handling brake fluid. If brake fluid gets into your eyes, rinse them with cold water for 15 minutes. If irritation persists, seek immediate medical attention. If brake fluid is swallowed, drink water and induce vomiting. Seek immediate medical attention. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury.
Caveats:
- Make sure that throughout the bleeding procedure the fluid level in the reservoir is maintained between the minimum and maximum marks, adding clean brake fluid if necessary.
- If brake fluid gets on the paintwork, the affected area should be washed immediately with cold water.

NOTE: Be sure to be completely clean when adding brake fluid.
NOTE: Do not reuse brake fluid.
Fill the clutch reservoir with brake fluid as needed.

WARNING: It is forbidden to carry out work on a vehicle standing on only one jack. Always support the vehicle with jack stands.
Raise the car and place stands under it.
3. Remove the bleed cap.
4. Connect a clean tube to the fitting and lower its free end into a clean container with brake fluid.
5. Remove air from the clutch system
- Loosen the fitting 2 turns.
- Press the clutch pedal all the way.
- While holding the pedal, tighten the fitting.
- Release the pedal.
6. Repeat the procedure until a clean brake fluid that does not contain air bubbles goes into the container.

NOTE: Do not reuse brake fluid.
Check the brake fluid level in the reservoir, top up if necessary.
8. Remove the supports and lower the vehicle.
