WARNING: Avoid skin contact with used axle oil. Waste axle oil contains potentially hazardous contaminants that can cause skin cancer or other serious skin conditions.
1. Put the car on a horizontal platform.
2. Using a 13 mm square drive wrench, remove the fill/level plug.

3. If necessary, add new oil to the level where oil starts to flow out of the filler/inspection hole. Drain excess oil and wipe the area dry.

4. Clean and screw in the fill/level plug.
Replacement

1. Park the vehicle on level ground and place a suitable oil drain pan under the axle.
2. Using a 13 mm square drive wrench, remove the drain plug and filler/level plug from the axle housing and wait for the oil to drain completely.
3. Clean and screw in the drain plug.
4. Fill with new oil to a level where oil starts to flow out of the filler/inspection hole. Drain excess oil and wipe the area dry.
5. Clean and screw in the fill/level plug.
Drive shafts
1. Clean the area around the front universal joint grease fitting.
2. Fill the grease fitting with the recommended grease.
