Air intake inlet pipe (Defender 2007+)

Removing

1. Remove the vent grille. Remove 7 screws.



2. Empty the air intake. Remove two screws.



3. Remove the wing support bracket. Turn out two bolts.



4. Disconnect the electrical connector of the mass air flow sensor (MAF).



5. Release the clamp on the air filter outlet pipe.



6. Release the air filter outlet pipe. Release the clamp.



7. Remove the intake duct.

Installation

1.

NOTE: To prevent water ingress, check the position of the intake duct on the fan motor seal.

Reinstall the elements in reverse order.

2. Tighten (tightening torque 3 Nm).



3. Tighten (tightening torque 3 Nm).
