Complete climate controls (Defender 2007+)

Removing

1. Remove the control panel console.

For more information, refer to the chapter: Dashboard Console (501-12 Instrument panel and console, Removal and installation).

2. Remove the climate control control panel. Remove 4 screws.



3. Disconnect the fan speed switch electrical connector.



4. Disconnect the air damper control cable. Release the clamp.



5. Disconnect the heater control cable. Release the clamp.



6. Disconnect the climate control backlight electrical connector.



7. Remove the climate control assembly.

• Release the clamps.
• Disconnect the 2 air mixer flap control cables.

Installation

1. Replace the elements in reverse order.
