Removing
1. Disconnect the wire "masses" from the battery.
For more information, see the chapter: Disconnecting and connecting the battery (414-01 Battery, Battery Mount and Wires, General Procedures).
2. Remove the refrigerant from the air conditioning system.

3. Remove the engine control unit (ECM).
For more information, refer to the chapter: Engine control module (ECM) (303-14 Electronic controls - Diesel engine ID4 2.4L, Removal and installation).

CAUTION: Plug all openings. Use new caps.
Loosen the expansion valve manifold with tube assembly.
- Turn out a bolt.
- Remove and discard o-rings.
5. Disconnect the heater radiator hoses.
- Use a suitable clamp to secure the heater hoses.
- Release two clamps.
6. Remove the control panel.

NOTE: Clips should be discarded.
Remove the audio unit support bracket. Remove and discard 5 clamps.
8. Remove the left glass air duct. Remove clamp.
9. Release the left glass heating air duct. Remove screw.
10. Remove the left glass heating air duct. Remove clamp.
11. Remove the right glass air duct. Remove clamp.
12. Release the right glass heating air duct. Remove screw.
13. Remove the right air duct. Remove clamp.
14. Remove the central deflector.
15. Remove the intake duct. Remove the nut.
16. Disconnect a cable of management of the gate of an air duct of heating of glass. Release the clamp.
17. Disconnect the footwell heating damper control cable. Release the clamp.
18. Remove the bushing from the baffle.
19. Disconnect an electric socket of the switch of heating of glass.
20. Remove the case of radiators of a heater and the evaporator. Loosen 4 nuts.
Installation
1. Replace the elements in reverse order. Tighten (tightening torque 15 Nm).
2. Tighten (tightening torque 8 Nm).
3. Connect the wire "masses" to the battery.
