Electric motor of the cooling system fan (Defender 2007+)

Removing

NOTE: Shown for left hand drive, same for right hand drive.

1. Disconnect the coolant expansion tank from the radiator pipe.



2. Release the expansion tank. Turn out a bolt.



3. Disconnect the blower motor electrical connector.



4. Remove the blower fan. Remove 3 screws.

Installation

1. Replace the elements in reverse order. Apply a bead of sealant to the mating surfaces of the blower motor and housing. sealant

2. Tighten (tightening torque 10 Nm).
