Removing
1. Put the car on a lift.
2. Alternatively, secure supports can be placed under the rear axle of the vehicle.
3. Remove the rear lower arm mounting elements.
4. Remove the fastening elements of the support bracket from the side member bracket.
5. Remove the lower arm assembly.
6. Turn away a counternut.
7. Remove the support bracket from the lower arm.
8. Replace bushing.
9. Press out the rubber bushings.
Installation
1.
CAUTION: Apply pressure to the outer edge of the bushing, not to the inner rubber part.
Center the sleeve in the body.
2. Install the rubber support on the lower arm.
3. Attach the rubber mount to the chassis bracket, but do not fully tighten the jam nut.
4. Connect the lower arm to the axle support and tighten the fastening element with a force of 176 Nm.
5. Lower the vehicle and allow the axle to assume a static loaded position. Fully tighten the lower arm-to-chassis mounting to 176 Nm.
