Steering column lower shaft (Defender 2007+)

Removing

NOTE: Align the front wheels to the "straight ahead".

1. Remove the bottom shaft of a steering column. Loosen and discard 2 bolts.



2. Remove the bottom shaft of a steering column.

• Mark the mutual position of the shafts.
• Loosen and discard the bolt.

Installation

1. Replace the elements in reverse order.

• Tighten to 30 Nm.

2. Tighten to 30 Nm.
