Removing
1. Disconnect the wire "masses" from the battery.
For more information, see the chapter: Disconnecting and connecting the battery (414-01 Battery, Battery Mount and Wires, General Procedures).
2. Remove the cooling fan.
For more information, see chapter: Cooling fan (303-03 Engine cooling - Diesel engine ID4 2.4L, Removal and installation).
3. Loosen the accessory drive belt.
- Turn the accessory drive belt tensioner in a clockwise direction.

WARNING: It is forbidden to carry out work on a vehicle standing on only one jack. Always support the vehicle with jack stands.
Raise the car and place stands under it.

Caveats:
- Make sure the area around the part is clean and free of foreign particles.
- Plug all openings. Use new caps.
- If power steering fluid gets on the paintwork, the contaminated area should be immediately washed with cold water.
Disconnect the union of the pipeline of a high pressure of the amplifier of a steering.
- Remove the O-ring and send it for recycling.
6. Remove 2 power steering pump bolts.
7. Disconnect fastening of a reservoir of the amplifier of a steering.
- Loosen 2 nuts.
8. Disconnect the supply hose from the power steering fluid reservoir.
- Release the clamp.
9. Remove the power steering pump.
- Turn out a bolt.
Installation
1. Install the power steering pump.
- Tighten to 23 Nm.

CAUTION: There must be a clearance of at least 15 mm between the power steering pump pulley and the hose on the back of the pulley. Adjust the position of the hose if necessary.
Connect the supply hose to the power steering fluid reservoir.
- Fasten the clamp.
- Check for correct clearance between power steering pump pulley and hose.
3. Fix a tank of the amplifier of a steering.
- Tighten to 4 Nm.
4. Torque to 23 Nm.

NOTE: Remove and discard plugs.
NOTE: Install the o-ring.
Connect the union of the pipeline of a high pressure of the amplifier of a steering.
- Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb/ft).
6. Fasten the accessory drive belt.
- Turn the accessory drive belt tensioner in a clockwise direction.
7. Install the cooling fan.

8. Connect the wire "masses" to the battery. For more information, see the chapter: Connecting the Battery (414-01 Battery, Battery Mount and Wires, General Procedures).
9. Add working fluid to the power steering system and bleed air from the system.
