Removing
1.
WARNING: Place secure stands under the vehicle and chocks under the front wheels.
Raise the back of the car.
2.
NOTE: Mark the rear propshaft for parking brake flange connection.
Remove and discard the four propeller shaft/parking brake flange nuts.
NOTE: The above procedure may require rotation of the driveshaft.
3.
NOTE: Make a mark on the rear driveshaft for flange connection to the rear differential.
NOTE: This procedure may require rotation of the driveshaft.
Unscrew and discard the four nuts of the flange connection of the cardan shaft with the rear axle.
4. Separate the flange connection of the cardan shaft with the parking brake.
5. Remove cardan shaft.
Installation
1. Clean the mating surfaces of the driveshaft flanges.
2. Screw in the bolts of the flange connection of the cardan shaft with the parking brake.
NOTE: Follow the alignment of the previously made marks.
3. Bring the cardan shaft to the rear axle flange and screw in the bolts.

NOTE: This procedure may require rotation of the driveshaft.
Screw on the nuts and screw in the bolts securing the propeller shaft to the rear axle flange and tighten to 47 Nm.
5. Screw on the nuts securing the cardan shaft to the parking brake and tighten to 50 Nm.
NOTE: This procedure may require rotation of the driveshaft.
6. Remove the supports and lower the car.
7. Apply the parking brake.
