Description
Front and rear driveshafts have cardan joints (not providing equal angular speeds) with needle roller bearings. The outer races of the bearings are packed with grease during assembly and a grease nipple is provided for maintenance purposes (see service section).
Both shafts have ball grooves to accommodate different distances between axles and gearbox. The splines are filled with grease and protected by a rubber boot.
NOTE: This joint does not require lubrication.
Front and rear driveshafts "phased", hinged at both ends, A and B spaced apart as shown.
Phasing is necessary to increase angular changes. When assembling, it is necessary to correctly combine the cardan shafts.

Vibration amount
Check that the propeller shaft universal joints are not jammed or worn; to do this, check them for increased radial and axial play. To perform this operation, insert a suitable lever into the hinge and check the movement. When both shafts are in satisfactory condition, but vibration is still present, the operation of the transfer case and wheel balancing should be checked.
