Rear headlining 90 station wagon (Defender 2007+)

Removing

1. Remove the upper pillar trim panels "WITH".

2. Remove the back panel of furnish of a covering of a ceiling.

3. Remove a back plafond of illumination of salon.

For more information, see chapter: Interior lamp (417-02 Interior lighting, Removal and installation).

4. Carefully remove the 5 decorative studs securing the front and rear headlining sections to the roof support brackets.

5. Release the front corners of the headlining from the roof end beam, on both sides.

6. Pull the headlining forward far enough to release the support brackets for the rear trim section.

7. Release the rear corners of the headlining from the roof end beam, on both sides.

NOTE: Do not kink the headliner when removing and installing.

Lower the rear section of the roof lining relative to the roof and remove it from the vehicle.

Installation

1. Have a second person guide the rear headliner towards the roof and insert the rear corners into the roof end rail.


2. Press headlining back and position over support brackets for rear trim section.

3. Insert the front corners of the headlining into the roof end beam.

4. Position the front edge of the rear headlining section over the front headlining section and secure with decorative studs.

5. Adjust the rear section of the headlining to ensure a good fit in all corners.

6. Establish a back plafond of illumination of salon.

7. Install rear headlining trim panel.

8. Install the upper pillar trim panels "WITH".
