Front seat back heater mat (Defender 2007+)

Removing

1. Remove an upholstery of a back of a forward seat.

For more information, see chapter: Front seat back upholstery (501-10 Seat, Removal and installation).

2. Disconnect the front seat heating mat harness. Remove and discard two clamps.



3. Remove and discard front seat back foam pad.



4. Remove and discard the front seat back cushion.

Installation

1. Install the front seat back heating mat onto the back cushion.

NOTE: Clean the contact surfaces of the parts.

Install the front seat back cushions. Attach the front seat back cushions with a suitable adhesive.

3. Install the front seat back foam pad.

4. Attach the front seat heating mat wiring harness. Install new wire strands.

5. Establish an upholstery of a back of a forward seat.
