General procedures
NOTE: This procedure describes counter lock adjustments on the front and rear doors.
1. Loosen the Torx bolts used to secure the striker to the B-pillar or C-pillar.
2. Adjust the position of the counterpart of the lock vertically and horizontally, slightly tighten the bolts.
3. Close the door, check the correct locking of the lock and the centering of the counterpart of the lock.
4. If necessary, remove or add shims. Fully tighten the bolts.
5. Make further adjustments if necessary. If full adjustment cannot be achieved, proceed as follows:
6. Remove the counter part of the lock and the plate with threaded holes.
7. Widen the hole for the striker mounting bolts on the B-pillar or C-pillar to increase the allowable movement in the required direction.
8. Reinstall the counter part of the lock and, if necessary, adjust its position.
