Traction and drive off the lock of the front door (Defender 2007+)

Removing

1. Remove the door trim panel.

2. Bend back the plastic sheet in place to gain access to the mechanism.

3. Remove the spring clip and disconnect the drive rod from the latch mechanism.

4. Remove 2 screws and push button linkage and linkage.

Installation

1. Fix the push button linkage and linkage to the door with 2 screws.

2. Connect the drive rod to the latch assembly and secure it with the spring clip.

3. Reseal the plastic sheet and install the door trim panel.
