Luggage compartment door lock Motor Reducer (Defender 2007+)

Removing

1. Remove the rear door trim panel.

For more information, refer to chapter: Tailgate Trim Panel (501-05 Interior trim, Removal and installation).

2. Disconnect an electric socket from the electric motor of the lock of a back door.

3. Remove the bolt and screw securing the rear door lock motor to the rear door.

4. Release the clip securing the wiring harness to the rear door lock motor support bracket.

5. Disconnect the rear door lock motor assembly from the drive link.



6. Remove the 2 screws securing the rear door lock motor to the support bracket.

Installation

1. Install the rear door lock motor on the support bracket and secure it with screws.

2. Connect the drive rod to the rear door lock motor.

3. Install the rear door lock motor on the door, screw in the screw and tighten the bolt to 6 Nm.

4. Install the wiring harness to the rear door lock motor support bracket and secure with a clip.

5. Connect the electrical connector to the rear door lock motor.

6. Establish the panel of furnish of a back door.
