Window lifter and front door window motor (Defender 2007+)

Removing

1. Remove the door trim panel.

For more information, see chapter: Front door trim panel (501-05 Interior trim, Removal and installation).

2. Remove the plastic sheet.

3. Lower glass and turn out two bolts of fastening of glass of a door to a window regulator.



4. Release the glass from the power window, lift it up and use a wedge to secure it in the raised position.



5. Disunite an electric socket of the electric motor.

6. Turn out four bolts and turn away two nuts of fastening of the electric motor in gathering with a window regulator.



7. Release and remove the electric motor in gathering with a window regulator.

Installation

1. Install the electric motor assembly with the power window, screw in the nuts and bolts and tighten to 10 Nm.

2. Connect the motor electrical connector.

3. Remove the wedges, lower the glass and install the power window. Screw in the bolts and tighten to 6 Nm.

4. Raise and lower the glass to check operation.

5. Install the plastic sheet.

6. Install the door trim panel.
