Power window lifter and rear door window motor (Defender 2007+)

Removing

1. Remove the rear door trim panel.

For more information, refer to the chapter: Tailgate Trim Panel (501-05 Interior trim, Removal and installation).

2. Carefully remove the plastic sheet from the tailgate.

3. Turn out two bolts of fastening of glass of a door to a window regulator.

4. Raise the glass and fix it with a suitable wedge.

5. Turn out four bolts of fastening of a window regulator to a door.

6. Pass the power window through the service hole at the bottom of the door.

Installation

1. Clear interfaced surfaces of a window regulator and glass of a door.

2. Lubricate the window regulator with grease.

3. Establish a window regulator on a door and fix with bolts.

4. Remove the glass holding wedge and align the glass relative to the power window.

5. Fix glass in a window regulator, screw and tighten bolts.

6. Install the plastic sheet on the tailgate.

7. Install the tailgate trim panel.
